EMS & Manufacturing AI Stocks
EMS and manufacturing AI stocks are the contract manufacturers who physically assemble AI servers, switches, racks, and circuit boards. Chip designers and cloud brands rarely build their own hardware; these companies do it for them, collecting AI spending as manufacturing revenue whichever brand ends up on the faceplate.

Frequently asked questions
What does EMS mean in the AI supply chain?
Electronics manufacturing services: firms paid to build hardware that other companies design and sell. In the AI buildout they assemble accelerator servers and full racks at enormous scale, so their revenue tracks unit volumes of AI hardware rather than any single product's margins or brand.
Why invest in the assemblers instead of the chip designers?
It is a different trade-off, not a substitute. Assemblers carry thinner margins but win on volume from every hardware generation and every competing designer at once. They offer exposure to the quantity of AI hardware being built with less dependence on which architecture wins.
